Integration to Microsoft® Office®

Paperiton DMS has a sophisticated integration to Microsoft® Office®. Unlike some DMS products, Paperiton DMS does not change the standard Office features, but extends it.

The Microsoft Office® add-ins are available for Word®, Excel®, PowerPoint®, Outlook® and Visio® versions 2003, 2007, and 2010.

When you add a new document to the DMS from any of the above applications with the add-in, only the necessary information is collected:

You will have the document added to DMS in a couple of seconds.

When a document is checked out for modifications, you can return the updated version of the document back to the DMS by clicking the same "Save to Paperiton DMS" button that you use to add new documents. Check the document properties, and the updated document is added as a new version to DMS.

Paperiton DMS does not force to save all documents to the DMS, simply because rarely all documents need to go there.
